Great Northern and John Kadlecik to Honor Bob Weir in Washington, DC

Great Northern and John Kadlecik will honor Bob Weir during a show at Washington, DC’s The Hamilton tomorrow, January 13. Billed simply as a Bob Weir Tribute, the celebration will take place at Washington, DC’s The Hamilton Live at 8pm. A note on the event reads, “Dear DMV Deadhead Community Please join us this Tuesday, January 13th as we honor the life, music and legacy of Bob Weir. Let’s gather to cry, laugh, sing, dance and love together as a community. Bobby gave us so much for so long and being together during this difficult time will help us all heal. It is a love so real, Not Fade Away. The Hamilton Live Team.”

Great Northern have been performing the Grateful Dead’s music since 2017. Kadlecik co-founded Dark Star Orchestra in 1997 and played with Weir in Furthur from 2009-2014.
