Greensky Bluegrass have released a new song titled “Grow Together” along with an official music video for the track. The song comes off of the Americana, alt-bluegrass outfit’s upcoming eighth studio album which is due to release on Jan. 21.
The video for “Grow Together” comes in the form of a documentary-style film and offers intimate behind-the-scenes footage of the band. Grow together was written by Paul Hoffman upon the arrival of his daughter. “I wrote this with my 5-week-old daughter at my feet. She laid there and listened, so content. I hoped this was the first of many experiences like this for her and I,” Hoffman shared in a press release. “I reflected on the amazing gift her mother had given me and ‘Grow Together’ just fell out of my heart,” Hoffman continued. “It’s a testament to a new chapter in my life and a love song for the woman who made me a father.”
Greensky Bluegrass are set to continue their tour along the West Coast this November, after which they’ll make their way to Mexico for Strings & Sol in December and close out the year for two NYE shows in Saint Louis. In 2022 they’ll be touring with The Infamous Stringdusters.
