Grinspoon Announce 30th Anniversary Tour With Bad//Dreems
Grinspoon have announced a run of dates for late 2025, which have been arranged to commemorate 30 years since the band’s formation. The Lismore-born band will play seven dates nationwide, joined by Adelaide pub rock band Bad//Dreems for all shows except, ironically, the Adelaide date. The full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
The band, known affectionally as “Grinners”, were last seen out on the road last year on their exhaustive 45-date national tour alongside Melbourne’s Press Club. The Whatever, Whenever, Wherever tour saw the band play shows in every state and territory between September and December, all in support of their eighth studio album Whatever, Whatever. Earlier this year, the band joined the Lookout Festival line-up alongside Jet, The Veronicas, Spiderbait and Magic Dirt.
Grinspoon – ‘Rock Show’
In addition to Bad//Dreems, the band will also be joined by Regurgitator as main support for their Adelaide and Perth shows. Loose Content will open in Brisbane and Melbourne, while Purple Disturbance will commence proceedings for the Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle dates. Molly Rocket and Lonesome Dove will complete the bill for the Adelaide and Perth shows, respectively.
Grinspoon were formed by lead vocalist Phil Jamieson, guitarist Pat Davern, bassist Joe Hansen and drummer Kristian Hopes in mid-1995. The line-up has remain unchanged since. The band originally split in 2013, following the release of their seventh album Black Rabbits the year prior. They briefly reunited in 2015 to support Cold Chisel on a select run of shows before returning in earnest circa 2017. Since reuniting, the band have done numerous sold-out national tours and played the main stage of music festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival and Groovin’ The Moo.
