    Yes, WAV files can lose quality, but it typically requires multiple file conversions or edits to noticeably degrade the audio. Unlike compressed audio formats such as MP3, WAV is an uncompressed format, so it doesn’t lose quality due to simple file conversion or playback. However, every time a WAV file is edited, saved, and re-encded, there is potential for a very slight loss in quality. This is more noticeable with lower-quality original files.
