Should I use FLAC or WAV?

When deciding between FLAC and WAV, it depends on your use case. FLAC is a compressed lossless audio format, meaning it will sound the same as the original uncompressed audio but will take up less space. WAV is an uncompressed audio format, taking up significantly more space than FLAC. If you need the audio files to take up the least amount of space, use FLAC. If the audio files need to be in their raw uncompressed form, WAV is the better option.
