    1. Belt-Driven Turntables: These turntables have a belt that connects the platter to the motor. They are typically more affordable, which makes them great for beginners. They offer a smooth sound but can be less accurate at higher speeds.

    2. Direct-Driven Turntables: These turntables have a motor that is directly connected to the platter. They are usually more expensive but are preferred by DJs due to their ability to maintain speed under heavy use. They are also the most accurate and are excellent for scratching.

    3. Idler- Wheel Driven Turntables: These turntables use a rubber wheel to turn the platter. They are less common and usually used by radio stations. They are not adjustable for speed and have a lot of vibration.
