One of the legends of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) is undoubtedly Daft Punk. The French duo consisting of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo revolutionized the EDM scene with their unique sound that blends house music, techno, synthpop, and disco. They released their debut album “Homework” in 1997 and skyrocketed to international fame with the release of “Discovery” in 2001 and “Alive 2007” in 2007. Their influence is so significant that they were the first EDM act to win a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2014. Despite their sudden split in 2021, their legacy and iconic status in the EDM world remain unshaken.
