An FX Send (or FX Send On) on a mixer is a feature that allows you to route a specific channel or multiple channels to an effects processor. After the signal has been processed, it is then mixed back into the main mix with the FX Return (or FX Return On). This is useful for adding various effects such as reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, and more to your mix. The level of the effects can typically be controlled by a separate knob on the mixer, referred to as the “wet/dry” control, which balances the amount of the original dry signal and the processed wet signal.
