Why use mono reverb?

Mono reverb is often used to create a sense of space and depth in a mix, making it sound more spacious and natural. However, unlike stereo reverb, mono reverb processes all sound signals in a single monaural (unprocessed) channel. This can be useful in situations where you want to maintain a clear center image in your mix, as all reverb tails will be collapsed to a single point in the stereo field. Additionally, mono reverb can help improve mix translation across different listening systems, as it eliminates the potential for Jason masking effects that can occur when stereo reverb is used in mono.
