IVE‘s Jang Won-Young gave major It Girl energy at Tommy Girl’s launch party dressed in a must-have Tommy Jeans bomber jacket.

Held at the Tommy Hilfiger‘s Omotesando Flagship store in Tokyo on Tuesday (May 27), the musician and Tommy Jeans brand ambassador chatted with attendees about the launch. Other guests at the event included actresses Riisa Naka and Seira Anzai. 

The star of Won-Young’s outfit? A Tommy Girl Heart Logo varsity jacket. Made of 100% cotton, this outerwear piece is Americana at its finest, equipped with stars and sporty motifs that tie the jacket together. The Primary Red/Ecru colorway is a vibrant choice, contrasting the black and white accented sleeves. A sequin heart logo is fixed to the back, further creating visual interest.

The ultra cozy bomber is made to look oversized, encapsulating that classic collegiate ’90s feel. Sturdy snap closures give way to nifty detailing on the pockets, which are deep enough to easily hold the essentials. We can picture this piece with classic baggy jeans or distressed jorts, paired with a clean white tee. Or make like Won-Young and wear it layered over a sweet and simple embroidered eyelet dress in white that contrasts the sporty nature of her jacket.

The K-pop star also wore white sneakers, striped socks and a red-and-white cap. For extra style points, Won-Young toted a denim shoulder bag affixed with a Tommy Girl patch, a stylistic add-on. The shoulder bag currently retails for $109 on the brand’s website. Aiming for a maximalist look? The bag is affixed with silver Tommy Girl-inspired charms, offering a whimsical flair.

The Tommy Girl spring 2025 capsule was brought to life with creative advisor Aleali May. Tommy Girl was orginially launched as a fragrance with the aim of capturing the essence of America. That same spirit was imbued in this new capsule, but reworked for today’s audiences, with the collection taking inspiration from the original Tommy Girl perfume ads. Each piece is retro meets modern.
