Hottest 100 of 2025 Winner Crowned

Following months of voting and anticipation, triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2025 has officially come and gone, once again bringing Australian music fans together to reflect on the music which defined the past year.

Millions of votes were cast by listeners, with polling closing earlier this month ahead of today’s live broadcast.

The annual countdown was highly competitive, featuring 26 debut entries, a record number of back-to-back appearances, and at least one major Hottest 100 milestone falling along the way.

In the end, Olivia claimed the coveted number one position with “Man I Need”.

The countdown marked 2025 a strong year for Australian music; local acts appeared frequently throughout the list alongside some of the world’s biggest international artists, reflecting a year in which local electronic and pop releases continued to resonate with local listeners.

Beyond the music itself, the Hottest 100 once again partnered with homelessness charity We Are Mobilise, with more than $176,000 raised to support people doing it tough across Australia.
