Jeff Coffin Tests Positive for COVID-19, Will Not Perform with Dave Matthews Band at MSG

Just hours before taking the stage at Madison Square Garden, Dave Matthews Band revealed that saxophonist Jeff Coffin has tested positive for COVID-19.
“Thankfully, Jeff is fully vaccinated and his symptoms are very mild,” reads an official announcement. “We will miss Jeff and wish him a quick recovery.”
DMB will be joined by Dumpstaphunk for the Nov. 12 and 13 shows and – presumably – with an open slot onstage, there will be plenty of musical cross-pollination.
