jxdn revisits blink-182’s seasonal classic “Happy Holidays, You Bastard”

jxdn is kicking off the season right with his cover of blink-182’s holiday hit “Happy Holidays, You Bastard.”

The rising pop-punk artist adds his lively flair and energy to a hilariously raunchy holiday classic.

“‘Happy Holidays You Bastard’ is one of the best Christmas songs of all time,” jxdn says. “It’s funny as hell and exactly the carefree attitude we should all have.” 

The song manages to pack all the heartwarming memories often associated with Christmas Eve in only 43 seconds.

These memories include rushing to wrap presents, getting frustrated with your loved ones and… of course, your grandfather eating too many hot dogs.

jxdn’s cover of “Happy Holidays, You Bastard” is a part of Spotify’s 2021 Holiday Singles Collection, an assortment of 12 holiday-oriented covers and originals.

This year’s collection includes tracks from Spoon, NAO, Ashnikko, Caylee Hammack, Chandler Moore, MisterWives, Surfaces and more.
