You’ve seen the Netflix show, more than once. And absorbed the soundtrack. Now you grab some popcorn, sit back and sing-along to K-Pop Demon Hunters on the big screen.

HOYTS will exclusively play K-Pop Demon Hunters: Sing-Along Version in its cinemas across Australia and New Zealand this August.

The interactive screenings — which model similar sing-alongs hosted for such movie musicals as The Greatest Showman and Wicked — will coincide with the international run dates of Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, 2025.

Fans in Australia and New Zealand will get the full experience with on-screen lyrics, premium cinema sound and theatre heaving with K-Pop fanatics.

“Our audience loves coming together for big-screen events, and this sing-along edition offers the ultimate fan experience,” comments HOYTS General Manager of Programming & Content Michelle Gater.

“We are thrilled to invite audiences across Australia and New Zealand to be part of this global phenomenon, sharing the same unforgettable sing-along experience that is electrifying fans worldwide.”

A Netflix film from Sony Pictures Animation, K-Pop Demon Hunters follows K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who, in their downtime, use their secret identities as kickarse demon hunters to protect their fans from an ominous supernatural threat.

As the story follows our heroes, they confront their biggest enemy yet – an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.

The official soundtrack for K-Pop Demon Hunters (via Republic/Universal) logged a full month at No. 1 on the ARIA Chart, and several songs from it have crashed the top 10 on the national singles chart, including “Golden,” the current leader.

Ticket are available through the HOYTS Australia and HOYTS New Zealand websites and mobile apps.
