Karl Denson Announces Halloween Weekend Concerts and Plans for 69th Birthday Celebration

Karl Denson is sketching out a plan and sharing details related to his Halloween celebration and upcoming 69th birthday concert. The renowned saxophonist, known for his self-titled Tiny Universe project, The Greyboy Allstars, and touring roles backing The Rolling Stones, will return to New Orleans on October 31, where he will perform at Tipitina’s. 

After marking spooky season with the Tiny Universe band, Denson will follow up the next night on the Radio/East stage in Austin, Texas, which serves as his final appearance before the super sexy arrival of his 69th birthday celebration on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at The Fillmore in San Francisco. 

Denson has remained busy on the road, most recently turning in a stop at the Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colo., on September 8. Before the stand above, KDTU put on a free show at Denver’s Levitt Park. During the concert, the bandleader invited 13-year-old special guest Lyric Stelling to the stage to contribute to “Elephant.”
