You can call her cringe, but Katy Perry will keep selling tickets. The pop star has sold over a million tickets for her “Lifetimes” tour.

Despite the intense criticism Katy Perry has faced for her “Lifetimes” tour, the pop star is having the last laugh—she’s already sold more than 1.1 million tickets, grossing over $80 million in sales.

According to Perry’s management, that money doesn’t even count tickets sold to her upcoming stops in Latin America, Europe, and China. Instead, it all comes from ticket sales to her shows in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Katy has played a total of 45 shows across those three countries.

The 40-year-old singer has faced plenty of backlash online for her latest tour’s “cringey” outfits and choreography, as well as her most recent album, 143, the lyrics from which were widely deemed out of touch.

Perhaps more notably, she was also roasted in April for her role in the all-female Blue Origin space flight, alongside Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn. That excursion was criticized as a waste of money and a further out of touch display of wealth.

Perry responded to her haters later that month: “I know so many people are hurting in so many ways, and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for [the] unhinged and unhealed.”

Her tour kicked off in Mexico City on April 23, followed by a show in Monterrey, and eight stops in the United States. In June, she traveled across Australia before returning to North America for another 17 shows in the U.S. and seven in Canada.

The South American leg of the tour kicks off on September 6 in Chile, followed by stops in Argentina and Brazil. In October, she begins the European leg with two shows in Belfast, with stops in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and two shows in London. There will also be shows in Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France, Hungary, Poland, Czechia, Italy, and Spain.

Perry will also head to China for six shows in Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Haikou—tickets for which sold out near-instantly, according to her management. Rounding out a truly global tour, Katy Perry will then head to Japan before finishing in Abu Dhabi on December 7.
