Kelsey Lu Returns With Boys Noize Collab ‘Love & Validation’

Trailblazing creative Kelsey Lu has shared their new single ‘Love & Validation’.

Kelsey Lu has navigated the pandemic with aplomb, switching up their creative endeavours and pushing themselves into fresh projects.

Collaborations with Yves Tumor, Kelly Moran, Moses Boyd and Actress have followed, alongside a string of remixes and their ground-breaking 13-person opera THIS IS A TEST.

New single ‘Love & Validation’ places a full stop on 2021, and it finds Kelsey Lu operating alongside Boys Noize.

Bold, tech-edged digitalism it up by Kelsey’s vocal, the Diana Kunst directed video stars Lu alongside multidisciplinary artists Slim Soledad and Samba Injai.

An exploration of isolation, Kelsey Lu says:

“The video for ‘Love & Validation’ gave us an opportunity to reveal different kinds of deep longing for human connection and physical presence especially within expressions of eroticism. With the world slowly and awkwardly opening up, we’re still trying to find our way through the woods of isolation towards one another in order to hold and fill these spaces of erotic expressionism.”
