“We’ve always felt drawn to helping create opportunities to showcase the incredible talent we have locally,” notes LTV Director and Good Intent COO Rick Bridgman. “With LTV, we’ll broadcast this talent to the world, to excite the next generation about live music, and in turn create awareness and understanding of the importance and key role that music plays within our social, culture and economy.”
The format is developed with creative director Billy Zammit, whose recent work and partnerships include Apple, Gucci, Converse, Socceroos, NME, Mercedes Benz and The City of Sydney.
Good Intent’s Amelia Vesperman continues: “We’ve been booking The Lansdowne for over a year, hosted some sweaty, heaving events (even IDLES and Fontaines D.C. afterparty DJ sets), so we’re excited for this fresh partnership to blossom and to help tell the stories of acts in a new and exciting way.”
Good Intent handles venue bookings for The Lansdowne Hotel, the 300-capacity Chippendale venue that’s recently celebrated 100 years in business; and recently expanded its live programming roster by taking on Bootleggers, the 200-capacity band room upstairs at Kelly’s on King in Newtown; and The Trocadero Room, a 140-cap dedicated space located on Enmore Road, both in Eora/Sydney.
The business also provides a range of services across PR and digital marketing, boasts a management roster (Bootleg Rascal, Close Counters, FANGZ, Fool Nelson), runs the Good Loco photography/videography studio, and is behind Greater Good, an artist development initiative now in it’s fifth year.
Current clients include Akon, Aloe Blacc, BMG, Bootleg Rascal, Bryan Ferry, Chromeo, Close Counters, COTERIE, Crowded House, Daily J, Destroy All Lines, Everything Everything, FANGZ, Fool Nelson, Future Static, Klangkarussell, La Roux, Pacific Avenue, RedHook, SOFT PLAY and The Terrys.
