A mix of musical voices have been added to the annual Rosh Hashanah services and musical offerings at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl. As previously reported, the 14th annual suite of High Holiday services will take place at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl the evening of September 22 and the morning of September 23. Rabbi Daniel Brenner will once again lead both services, while Jeremiah Lockwood will serve as the services’ musical director, guitarist and cantorial soloist. Isaac Gardner, John Bollinger, Jordan McLean, Stuart Bogie, Yula Be’eri and Yusuke Yamamoto and Tim Allen will serve as the house band both days.

The evening celebration on Monday, September 22 will feature a special Armo jam session boasting members of the Antibalas/Daptone family and the night will include guest appearances by Leslie Mendelson, Ben Atkind, Eric Slick (Dr. Dog), Nicole Atkins, Kenny Kosek (Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band), Craig Greenberg and more.

The morning service on Tuesday, September 23 will feature guest appearances by Jake Brownstein (Eggy) & Dani Battat (Eggy), Marlo Shankweiler (Melt), Craig Greenberg, Eric Slick (Dr. Dog) and members of Color TV. A lunch option is also available for the September 23 event.

On Oct 1. and Oct 2., the services will continue with Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur morning at New York’s The Cutting Room. All four services will also feature guided meditation.
