An unstoppable year for Chicago-raised duo Louis The Child continues to reach new heights as Robby Hauldren and Frederic J. Kennett unveil their highly anticipated EP, To Believe. This follows a string of undeniable victories for the pair, such as the release of their recent Euphoria EP, a confirmed Las Vegas residency at Zouk Nightclub, RIAA Gold certification of “It’s Strange” and “The Weekend,” and most recently, receipt of a plaque for their first-ever Platinum single (“Better Not” featuring Wafia) during their performance at Weekend 1 of Coachella.

The boys kick off the EP’s title track with their classic buoyant production, syncopated rhythm, and echoing vocals. Flowing into the pre-released “Cry” featuring Aluna, Louis The Child shift into a new gear on a house take that boasts an understated yet driving ambiance, coupled with a head-bobbing metallic techno beat. To Believe is chock full of collaborations, including Elderbrook, Royal & The Serpent, and Kasbo and EVAN GIIA, who guest on “Blow The Roof.”

The rightful next chapter to follow their mood-boosting, nostalgic Euphoria EP, it’s clear that Louis The Child have once again made it their primary goal to bring forth an abundance of joy, offering both physical and figurative spaces for fans to playfully show their colors. Says the pair of the EP,

“We’re so excited to give you all To Believe! This EP has themes of following your dreams and finding meaning in love and life. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”

Catch Louis The Child at their recently announced return to Red Rocks Amphitheater on October 13 with NEIL FRANCES, Crooked Colours, and a sold-out show on October 14, where they will be joined by Kasbo and Rome in Silver. Louis The Child will play a Playground set on both evenings. Find your tickets for their October 13 show here. Until then, dive into their effervescent new release below.
