Maya Jane Coles lays hypnotic spin on Eli & Fur’s ‘Come Back Around’

Maya Jane Coles has given Eli & Fur‘s “Come Back Around” her own cooling, club-primed spin. Pulling listeners further into the pining tones found in Eli & Fur’s original groundwork, Maya Jane Coles’ added elements stay true to the track’s title, where the grooving atmosphere continues to “come back around” with its hypnotizing, gyrating structural elements.

“Come Back Around” arrives as Maya Jane Coles’ first release since her full-length album, Night Creature, arrived earlier this fall. In May, Eli & Fur initially shared “Come Back Around,” cropped from their Found in the Wild LP. Now, the trio of crowd-commanding females finds a complementary blend of styles on the new remix, bringing forth the original cut’s most critical elements and modifying them with Coles’ authoritative production acumen.
