Members of Dead & Company, Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros, Terrapin Family Band and More Plot Two-Night Celebration of the Grateful Dead in Vail
The Shakedown Family Band, Jay Lane (Dead & Company), Barry Sless (Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros), Ross James (Terrapin Family Band), Mookie Siegel (David Nelson Band), Wally Ingram, and Scott Rednor will come together for two live engagements at the Shakedown Bar in Vail, Colo., Feb. 5 and 6.
The first of two concerts by this ensemble will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, and has been billed to kick off at 9 p.m. local time. The first performance will feature the band delivering an entirely electric show, before they shift to acoustic on Friday, February 6, when they’ll play in the afternoon, beginning at 4 p.m. local time.
The performances will celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead, featuring collaborators from the late Bobby Weir’s career, including Lane and Sless.
