Denis Pauna has put a unique spin on Metallica’s 1988 track “Blackened,” transforming it into a death metal rendition. You can listen to his brutal adaptation streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. And spoiler: It has more bass than the original track.
If you’re hungry for more death metal renditions of Metallica’s classics, Pauna mentioned in the video’s comments that he’s currently working on the entire “And Justice for All” album in a death metal style, set to be released later this month. We’ll definitely keep an eye out for that, as it’s likely to be awesome.
