Featuring a raft of pals…

Metronomy have shared a brand new collaborative EP.

The much-loved British group have been laying down hints for fans, a suggestion that something new could be on the way.

Well, ‘Posse EP Volume 1’ is online now, and it features a diverse cast: South London rapper Pinty, neo-soul singer Biig Piiig, Sorry, and Spill Tab.

Pinty guests on ‘Half An Inch’, and he comments: “Half an inch off six foot tall… sums up my short life. Being so close yet so far from something – everyone can relate to that…”

LA based Biig Piig works on ‘405’, and she explains: “Joe sent over the piano instrumental and it was so beautiful and brought back so many memories. I feel like when you hear a piece of music that does that, you know it’s special. My melodies and lyrics over it came out really easily and it just felt really nostalgic. The song is about a moment of realising the love that I was seeking frantically in all kinds of places I had right in front of me the whole time.”
