Modest Mouse have announced a new slate of fall tour dates with Built to Spill. On top of a packed summer tour itinerary and two landmark special events in the near future, the Portland, Ore. alt-rock icons will make 14 stops across North America from Sept. 30 to Oct. 21, 10 of which will feature support from their celebrated Northwest indie peers.

After wrapping its 50-show summer tour with a set at Ocean City, Md.’s Oceans Calling Festival on Sept. 27, Modest Mouse will move directly into its next live series through a Sept. 30 show at Aspen, Colo.’s Belly Up Aspen. The band’s follow-up on Oct. 1 at Denver’s Mission Ballroom will launch a scattershot sprint across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Canada, including high-profile bookings like Nashville, Tenn.’s The Pinnacle on Oct. 9, Detroit’s The Fillmore Detroit on Oct. 11, Toronto, Ontario’s HISTORY on Oct. 13, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Oct. 15, Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem on Oct. 18 and a finale at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Brooklyn Paramount on Oct. 21.

Beyond their fall tour, Modest Mouse and Built to Spill will unite for the former’s inaugural Psychic Salamander Festival, staging at Carnation, Wash.’s Remlinger Farms on Sept. 13 and 14. Other esteemed acts on the bill include Courtney Barnett, Sleater-Kinney, Yo La Tengo and The Flaming Lips, who will perform The Soft Bulletin in its entirety. From February 5-9 of 2026, the bands will meet again aboard Modest Mouse’s new Ice Cream Floats music cruise, featuring three nights of shows from Built to Spill, Portugal. The Man, Kurt Vile and the Violators, David Cross and more.

Tickets for Modest Mouse’s fall tour will become available through an artist presale tomorrow, May 28, at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general on-sale on Friday, May 30, at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit modestmouse.com.
