moe. Announce Exclusive ‘Relix Session’ Vinyl Release, Detail Fall Tour

moe. have unveiled moe. – The Relix Session, a new exclusive live record pressed in partnership with Relix. Captured live on stage from the legendary jam ensemble’s performance at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on May 9, 2023, the vinyl-only album features top-tier treatments of 13 classics from throughout the band’s three-decade run. Fans can pre-order the project online exclusively through Relix, and the group will take copies on the road as a featured item on its newly announced 35th Anniversary Tour this fall.

moe. – The Relix Session is lined with staples of the foundational jamband’s storied catalog. From the well-placed opener of the “New York City,” pulled from moe.’s 2001 album Dither, the setlist digs deep in the band’s discography and turns up choice cuts like “Recreational Chemistry,” “Lazarus,” “Billy Goat,” “The Faker” and one of its very first stagings of “Yellow Tigers,” plus electrifying covers of Pink Floyd’s “Fearless” and Steely Dan’s “Do It Again.” The beloved sextet of Rob Derhak, Al Schnier, Chuck Garvey, Jim Loughlin, Vinnie Amico and Nate Wilson took these infectious jam vehicles to their outer limits in a show emblematic of their continued artistic development–perfectly suited for their second-ever vinyl-only live release.

Beyond the four 140g LPs, pressed in alternating blue metallic and green/yellow fluorescent concentrate, every four-panel gatefold record comes with a poster-grade 11.5″ x 11.5″ photo collage of unseen photos from the band’s archives. The collector’s item is limited to 150,000 copies.

On top of the landmark vinyl release, moe. have officially unveiled plans to extend the 35th Anniversary Tour into the fall. From Oct. 11 to Nov. 1, the jamband will assume the spotlight for 13 performances across the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast, including a kickoff performance from Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre, a highly anticipated set at Live Oak, Fla.’s Suwannee Hulaween and a two-night co-headline Halloween series with The Infamous Stringdusters at New Orleans’ Joy Theater.

Tickets for moe.’s fall series will go on sale through an artist presale tomorrow, June 4 at 10 a.m. local time with code 35MOE. A general on-sale will follow on Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit moe.org/tour
