On Friday, December 27, moe. turned in their final concert before the clock strikes 12, and the New Year ensues. The concert found the group of University of Buffalo alumni continuing their history on the Palace Theatre stage in Albany, N.Y.–an establishment with band significance since 1996–where they delivered two sets of music that served as the final gig of their 35th Anniversary Tour.

The night led with originals, “All Roads Lead to Home,” “Bat Country,” and “Crab Eyes” before leaning into Nate Wilson’s self-titled project delivery and moe.’s live standard. “In Stride.” Next, the band positioned “She Sends Me” into the set. Its live representation was renewed this year, beginning on June 9, 2025, when it was performed for the first time in 12 years. The deep cut was capped with The Allman Brothers Band’s highly regarded instrumental masterpiece, “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”

Rather than ending the frame with a cover, the band pivoted into the No Doy feature “Four.” Upon their return to the stage, moe. went with some concert splendor, a la “Farmer Ben,” and featuring so-called “Xmas Jams.” Next, the band sank their teeth into a nonstop sequence that began with “Moth” into “Billy Goat,” “3-Eyed Serpent,” and “Brent Black,” before looping back to “Moth” to conclude the set.

For moe.’s final performance of the year, the band pulled out Bobby Weir’s Ace feature, “Cassidy,” followed by their own, “Downward Facing Dog.” After turning in their Friday night concert, the band will remain absent from the road till February 5, 2026, when they begin a three-night stand at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vt. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased here.
