Muse Have Released A Bludgeoning New Track ‘WON’T STAND DOWN’


Bang that head.

Muse have returned, and they have done it in some style. 

The band have just released ‘Won’t Stand Down’, their first brand new music since 2018’s Simulation Theory’. And it is a heavy one.

Possessing all of the same sprawling atmospheres and mountain-sized melodies we would expect from the band but throwing in an extra layer of bludgeoning metal and industrial distortion for good measure, it is a headbang-worthy belter from a band who you continue to be impossible to pin down. 

Vocalist Matt Bellamy had this to say about it:

“‘Won’t Stand Down’ is a song about standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere. Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression.”
