My Morning Jacket Share Holiday Single Ahead of Beacon Theatre Run

Hot ahead of the kick-off of the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed 2003 album It Still Moves, My Morning Jacket has started to usher in the holiday season with the release of a new Christmas song titled “Feelin Sorry.” The song is one of two previously unreleased yuletide tracks that will be featured on the group’s upcoming holiday album Happy Holiday!

The anthology will also include seven other holiday songs originally recorded by My Morning Jacket in 2011. Happy Holiday! will arrive on Nov. 24 exclusively at record stores for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event, marking the first time the tracks will be available on vinyl.

In addition to the new holiday music, My Morning Jacket are currently in the midst of a North American tour with a three-night engagement at New York City’s Beacon Theatre starting tonight, Oct. 19 through Oct. 21.

Notably, tonight’s show will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s acclaimed 2003 album It Still Moves, which will be performed in full. Additional celebrations of the album will take place in Atlanta and Chicago next month. Additionally, next April, the group will head to Mexico for their “One Big Holiday” concert vacation event.
