Paramore preview “Burning Down the House” cover from Stop Making Sense tribute album

Having released This is Why, one of the best albums of 2023, early last year, Paramore caused some alarm when they started 2024 with wiped social media accounts and canceled their scheduled January set at iHeartRadio’s ALTer EGO fest. They’ve now returned to social media with a teaser for an exciting new release: a tribute album to Talking Heads‘ iconic concert film Stop Making Sense. A24, who did last year’s 40th anniversary, 4K restoration of the film, is behind it, and it’s set to include “16 tracks from 16 artists.”

In the teaser video directed by AJ Gibboney and the band’s Zac Farro, Paramore preview a cover of “Burning Down The House,” including nods to classic images and moments from Stop Making Sense. Watch it below, and stay tuned for more details and the full cover.
