Pictish Trail Launches New Album ‘Island Family’
Pictish Trail is set to release new album ‘Island Family’ on March 18th.
The Scottish songwriter is based on the Isle of Eigg, a community marked by independence and self-reliance.
New album ‘Island Family’ is a deeply personal record, lifting influences from Fever Ray and Liars; produced by Rob Jones, it spins the songwriter’s work in a new direction.
Out on March 18th, the record will be accompanied by a full UK tour next year, with Pictish Trail sharing new two new songs.
Title cut ‘Island Family’ is a sharp-edged piece of ultra-abrasive electronic pop, while ‘Melody Something’ is a little more restrained.
