Pierce Brothers have landed the highest local debut on this week’s ARIA Albums chart.

The Melbourne duo’s fourth studio album, Moonrise, has debuted at No. 14 on the Albums list, and No. 1 on the Australian Albums chart.

It’s Jack and Patrick Pierce’s seventh top 50 appearance for album and EP debuts and follows The Night Tree (No. 21 in 2014), Into The Dirt (No. 10 in 2015), The Records Were Ours (No. 9 in 2017), My Tired Mind (No. 31 in 2017), Atlas Shoulders (#No. 13 in 2018) and Everything Is Bigger Than Me (#14 in 2024).

After six weeks straight on top, Taylor Swift has returned to No. 1 with The Life of a Showgirl following a brief stint off the podium thanks to 5 Seconds of Summer and the Wicked: For Good soundtrack.

The only other debut this week comes from Melbourne singer Jemma Siles with her debut EP, Scripts of Fate, at No. 18.

On the Singles chart, Olivia Dean has made it three weeks at No. 1 with “Man I Need”, while Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” has made the jump from No. 10 to No. 1 on the On Replay Singles chart.

It’s the most wonderful time of year, after all.
