Premiere: FrostTop delivers again on ‘VEGA’ via Boombox Cartel’s MONTA imprint

FrostTop, the budding trap star out of Southern California, is back to close out 2021 with a bang. For those familiar with the young producer, his latest output titled “VEGA,” bears no surprises. The production style and energy is right in line with the rest of his emerging catalog—aggressive yet sophisticated in sound. It’s the first time FrostTop has featured on Boombox Cartel’s fast-rising new record label MONTA, though the stars have been aligning for such a union for quite some time now. “VEGA” has roots back to Frosttop’s ID-packed livestream set “LIGHT_SPEED” which premiered as part of Boombox Cartel’s “Cinco Mode” 2021 livestream. Says FrostTop,

“I’m extremely eager to continue to push my new sound with ‘VEGA’ and it’s such a great fit in the MONTA catalog in my opinion.”

The track also comes with high praise from the label boss himself, with Boombox Cartel heavily championing the new track in live performances, adding, “FrostTop is up to something super special. ‘VEGA’ goes off every time I play it, and we’re all super excited to have it release on MONTA. There may or may not be a collaboration in the works, keep an eye out on MONTA for that one.”

FrostTop continues to show that he’s one of the brightest up-and-comers in trap with “VEGA.” He’s been on our radar for some time, garnering support for ISOxo, Boombox Cartel, and Yellow Claw along the way. His addition to the MONTA lineup is yet another artist label co-sign after being featured on SLANDER and NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibrations imprint twice earlier this year. Moreover, FrostTop joins a label roster that already includes the likes of ODEA, Lemay, and one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artist to Watch in 2022, RemK.
