Professor Louie & The Crowmatix to Honor The Band’s Rick Danko

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have confirmed the details for their annual tribute to The Band’s Rick Danko. The longtime Band collaborator and his long-running project will honor The Band’s singer/bassist on his birthday with a special show at Woodstock, NY’s The Colony on December 29. The Woodstock Horns will augment Crowmatix during the night. 

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix will appear at Piermont, NY’s Turning Point Cafe on Saturday. Looking ahead, they will also salute The Band with special shows at New York’s Cafe Wha? on January 6 and Bay Shore, NY’s Boulton Center for the Performing Arts on February 17. The latter date will also boast The Woodstock Horns.
