REAPER continues drum ‘n’ bass domination with ‘RUNAWAY’ featuring Josh Rubin

Drum ‘n’ bass is undoubtably on the rise in the United States, and despite being a staple across the globe, it’s never fully caught on state-side. However, if artists like REAPER are any indication, the drum ‘n’ bass revolution is not only here to stay but also healthily forge forth.

Named a Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021, the REAPER project shrouded in mystery continues to impress release after release even as the year comes to a close. Released via Bassrush Records, “RUNAWAY” is an ode to stadium drum ‘n’ bass and features Josh Rubin on vocals. REAPER took to Instagram to say the following:

“RUNAWAY is about the moment you discover a special someone, and the realization that you’d risk anything to be with them. This realization is represented by the hot-blooded bass lines that surround Josh Rubin’s hooks.”

Fresh off a date at EDC Orlando, REAPER continues his ascent in the dance music world. With past dates at EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, and Nocturnal Wonderland, as well an upcoming date at Countdown NYE, the project is as alive and well as drum ‘n’ bass globally. Listen to “RUNAWAY” below.
