Record Store Day unveils the full list of exclusive vinyl releases coming on Black Friday, including Billie Eilish, Bob Dylan, Wicked, and more.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as the folks behind the UK’s Record Store Day announce the full list of exclusive vinyl releases hitting independent record store shelves the day after Thanksgiving. The roster ranges from Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, the Ramones, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and many more.

Releases will be available exclusively at UK independent record stores from 8 AM on November 28. The announcement coincides with Record Store Day’s new partnership with Lägom Studio, a specialist in bespoke vinyl, mixed media, and hi-fi solutions.

Plenty of Record Store Day staples are returning for the 2025 edition, including Talking Heads and Fleetwood Mac. The Bob Dylan release is a never-before-issued variant of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, with tracks that were “censored” from the original release. Billie Eilish is also dropping a brand-new live EP for the occasion.

Notably, the sequel soundtrack for the Wicked franchise will be available, and there will be far more copies than there were for the first edition. Last spring, a variant edition of the soundtrack for the first Wicked film was pressed in an extremely limited quantity, becoming the most difficult item to secure during last year’s Record Store Day.

This time, the Record Store Day-exclusive version of Wicked for Good arrives in indie shops a week after the movie comes out, and is being released in a pressing of 15,000. Those are still guaranteed to sell out fast, though. Additionally, two Wicked-themed turntables are being released for Record Store Day: a green Elphaba Edition, and a pink Glinda Edition.

Lines might not be quite as packed as last year, since there will be no Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo vinyls going around. But there’s still a veritable who’s who of contemporary music to go around, from Chappell Roan, Post Malone, GloRilla, Jelly Roll, and Fred Again…

Classic artists dropping fresh variants or never-before-released material include Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Tom Petty, Prince, Warren Zevon, Randy Newman, the Rolling Stones, George Harrison, The Doors, and Billy Joel.

Other favorites to look out for include The Flaming Lips, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Dr. Dre, Spinal Tap, Cage the Elephant, Alice Cooper, A-ha, Devo, INXS, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Phil Collins, the B-52s, the Notorious B.I.G., En Vogue, B.B. King, Ghost, Danny Elfman, and Kesha.
