The Minnesota-based progressive metalcore band Reflections has unveiled their latest single titled “Alone”, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.

The outfit revealed that they had been holding onto the song for a while:

“Closing 2023 by sharing our final single of the year, Alone.

Originally written, recorded and scheduled to be released in early 2022, more time was taken to revise parts of the song and decide if it had a place on more of a full scale release, or was better left as a standalone.

More dialed back and direct than technical, the song is still entirely progressive and has some of our most distinct genre hopping we’ve incorporated into our music.

While writing occurred during a time of isolation and largely speaks to its effects, the song was written always in mind of playing it in a live environment and we look forward to doing so very soon.

We would like to thank Matt Thomas for working with us on this song and brining it to life. We would also like to thank Joel Wanasek for pushing everything to the next level like he always does.

We will be playing Alone on our upcoming tour dates supporting Veil of Maya, AngelMaker and more.”
