“Salmon Eggs”: Leftover Salmon Plot Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Concerts in Boulder with Silas Herman & The Tone Unit, Eli Emmitt Band and More

Leftover Salmon will return to the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colo., for their annual Thanksgiving Weekend concerts, Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29. The live shows are slated to arrive during the jamgrass ensemble’s 35th anniversary and are billed to include notable guest additions and opening acts selected for each evening. 

Each evening will begin with an opening set. On November 28, Silas Herman & The Tone Unit will perform, followed by the Eli Emmitt Band on November 29, sons of Vince Herman and Drew Emmitt, respectively. The band joked about the family angle of the event, calling their kids’ inclusion “the Salmon Eggs.”

Also featured on the bill are husband and wife bluegrass fiddlers, Jason Carter and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, who will deliver a duo set each evening. Alluding to the potential for onstage interplay, the band added, “Gonna be a family affair full of collaborations from all these amazing artists,” to their social post.
