Sibling Duo, Duplexity, Features New Sound in Release ‘Love in Reverse’

Luke and Savannah Judy are not just siblings; they are also the talented duo that makes up the band DUPLEXITY. The brother-and-sister performers have built a unique sound based on their ability to communicate and collaborate. That familial interplay is at the core of their growing success.

“What sets us apart from other bands is our sibling bond and how it reflects in our music. We understand each other in a way that makes collaboration seamless. Our ideas flow easily, and the communication is always on point. There’s a level of trust and freedom between us that allows us to be completely open and free from judgment, which is vital when it comes to creating something genuine,” the band says.

The sibling duo is now redefining their sound with the release of the song “Love in Reverse.”

Authentic Sibling Dynamic

The siblings write their music together, often drawing from their personal experiences and infusing their music with authenticity. The level of trust between them allows them to be genuine in their songwriting, making every song “more personal and meaningful.”

The siblings have shared their career on Instagram and TikTok, giving a behind-the-scenes look at their music and insight into their process. They have sometimes faced harsh criticism, especially when they rewrote lyrics of popular mainstream songs to reflect their faith, but they remain steadfastly supportive of each other. They’ve grown up side by side and have supported each other through all of life’s challenges and triumphs.

The band has already played at iconic venues across the country. They performed at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, for the SXSW Future of Music event. They have also been on the stages of Whisky a Go Go, the Troubadour, and the legendary Viper Room.

“These experiences have been huge milestones for us, as they’ve allowed us to connect with incredible audiences. We absolutely love playing live shows. There’s nothing like the energy of sharing our music with a crowd and feeling that immediate connection,” the duo says.

Now the siblings are performing side by side as Duplexity plays shows around Los Angeles, and continues to write and release more music.
