St. Paul & The Broken Bones Announce 2022 Tour, Share Video for “The Last Dance”

St. Paul & The Broken Bones have announced a 30-date US tour to support their forthcoming album and ATO Records debut, The Alien Coast, which will release on Jan. 28. 

The band’s fourth studio release has been described as a “fever dream convergence of soul and psychedelia, stoner metal and funk,” that was “birthed through the idea of falling asleep in a hotel and having a sequence of nightmares, then waking up and missing home so badly” said lead-vocalist Paul Janeway in a press release.

The Alabama-bred eight-piece features Janeway on vocals, Jesse Phillips (bass), Browan Lollar (guitar), Kevin Leon (drums), Al Gamble (keyboards), Allen Branstetter (trumpet), Chad Fisher (trombone) and Amari Ansari (saxophone). 

The tour will include some of the biggest headlining shows for the band, including a performance at The Beacon Theatre in New York City with special-guest Thee Sacred Souls. R&B/soul artist Danielle Ponder will also join the band on tour for select stops, see the full list below for dates. 

Alongside the announcement of the album, St. Paul & The Broken Bones have also released a music video for their lead single “The Last Dance.” The video captures the band’s first-ever live performance of the song and was filmed in a single take at Ol Elegante Studios in Birmingham Ala.
