Sunami Announce Fourth Australian Tour In Three Years For September 2025

Sunami have announced a headlining tour of the east coast of Australia, less than three months after they were last here for this year’s Knotfest. The San Jose hardcore band have locked in an exhaustive tour, with six shows across six days. As such, no further shows are set to be added to the run. The full list of dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

Joining the band as main support for all shows is Outta Pocket, a fellow Bay Area hardcore band, who will be making their Australian debut as part of the run. The band’s debut studio album, Waste Of A Man, was released in 2023. The rest of the line-up will be filled out with different Australian hardcore bands at each show – including Newcastle quintet Skorn joining the bill for the first three shows in Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney, and Feel The Pain in both Nambour and Brisbane.

Sunami – ‘Doubt’

Sunami first toured Australia in May of 2023, playing shows with Speed and fellow Calfornians Scowl – including that year’s Back On The Map. They returned in June of 2024, playing a run of all ages shows with Big Boy (not to be confused with Big Boi) as main support. In addition to playing Knotfest back in March, the band also played a select run of sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney.
