Suzi Announces Debut Album ‘Patchwork’, Shares National Tour Dates

Suzi has shared details of her debut studio album, entitled Patchwork. The album is set for release on Friday, September 12th via the Melbourne singer-songwriter’s own label, Very Good Records. To support the album, she and her band will embark on a national tour in October 2025. The full details on that, as well as the album itself, can be found below.

On the album’s creation, Suzi offered only this brief statement: “I have never worked harder on anything in my whole entire life.” The album was recorded at Wrangler Studios in West Footscray, with producer Dean Telefeson and former Loser frontman Tim Maxwell overseeing the album’s mixing. Patchwork has been pre-empted by two singles: ‘I Don’t Understand How Planes Work’, released in October of 2024, and ‘Centrelink Summer’ from back in January.

The album’s next single is slated to be ‘One Way Ticket’, which is set for release next week on Friday, August 15th. “[This song is] about loving someone or something that is going nowhere,” said Suzi of the upcoming track – which she and her band have been playing live throughout 2025. “It’s about accepting that sometimes letting go is the only thing you can do. ‘One Way Ticket’ is the perfect representation of the growth I have felt over the past two years of intensive touring and writing.”

Suzi and her band undertook two tours earlier in the year. The first was in March, where she served as opener for The Wonder Years and Joyce Manor‘s national Australian tour. The second came in June, where she joined former collaborators Sly Withers in supporting Kisschasy on their Hymns For The New Believer national tour, celebrating their 2007 album Hymns For The Non-Believer.
