‘Talented Songwriters, Extraordinary Performers’: Select Music Announces Latest Signing

Select Music has revealed its latest signing.

This week, the independent agency announced Sydney indie rock outfit Jet City Sports Club to their roster, coinciding with news that the band will embark on their debut headline tour next month.

“I have been cheering Jet City Sports Club on from the sidelines for years, and it feels good to now be on the pitch with them,” Select Music’s Jimmy Kleiner told The Music Network.

“They are talented songwriters, extraordinary performers and most importantly, delightful human beings.”

Jet City Sports Club join the Select Music roster that features the likes of Peter Garrett, Amy Shark, The Teskey Brothers, Thelma Plum, The Presets and Keli Holiday.

“We’re so stoked to be joining our friends at Select officially, we’ve been tight with the team over there for a while, through support slots with many of their incredible artists over the last couple years, so joining the team feels like a big, and right step forward,” the trio told The Music Network.

Jet City Sports Club will release their first single for 2025, “In Morphine,” on June 5th ahead of the east coast tour kicking off later that month.

Prior to that, they will support fellow Aussie act Old Mervs on their headline tour starting next week.

“We’ve spent a lot of time on the road and feel lucky to have played for so many amazing crowds along the east coast. But this one’s a little different, it’s our first time headlining. We’ll be hitting Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, and we’re feeling grateful, a bit nervous, and so ready,” singer Lilla Obradovic said.

“We’re also very excited to be joining Old Mervs on the NSW leg of their album tour this May. We’ve played with the guys a few times now, and the crowds have always been some of the loveliest, most welcoming people… we honestly can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces again.”
