Tash Sultana Announces ‘Return To The Roots’ 2025 Australian Tour
Tash Sultana has shared details of an east-coast Australian tour, set for the first week of October 2025. Dubbed the Return To The Roots tour after their new EP, the shows will make up the Melbourne multi-instrumentalist’s first headlining tour of the country since 2019. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
Sultana has noted that they will be performing for one night only in each city, with no additional shows or venue upgrades planned. They will be joined for all three shows by Perth band South Summit and Sydney-based singer-songwriter Ben Swissa. The former released their debut studio album, The Bliss, in November 2024, and are fresh from another support slot last month – that being for The Dreggs‘ national tour, alongside singer-songwriter Holly Hebe. The latter, meanwhile, completed a headlining tour of the country back in March in support of his debut EP, Hush.
Tash Sultana – ‘Kiss The Sky’
Return To The Roots, Sultana’s fourth EP, was released back in May. It features the singles ‘Milk And Honey’, ‘Hold On’ and ‘Ain’t It Kinda Funny’. The lattermost track was a collaboration with Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green – AKA City & Colour – which he described as “an absolute joy”. “We first connected last year, and hit it off right away,” he said in a statement back in early May.
“That first impression led to me visiting their studio in Australia, and eventually creating this song together. Tash is one of the most impressive people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Their passion and work ethic was inspiring. I’m truly grateful to have been invited to be a part of this”
