TAUK Postpone Upcoming Shows Due to COVID Exposure

TAUK has postponed their four-show New Year’s run after multiple members of their touring party tested positive for COVID. A message from the band reads: 

“We are extremely disappointed to announce that all 4 shows on the TAUK NYE run will be rescheduled.  Unfortunately, multiple members of our touring party have tested positive or had close contacts with folks who have tested positive in the last 24-48 hours. Based on CDC guidelines, we are unable to travel or perform before the new year. We are working closely with promoters to find dates we can reschedule these shows to in early 2022 and will let you know as soon as we possibly can where the rescheduled dates will fall. After a tough 2 years for the live music business, there is nothing more we wanted to do than ring in 2022 with you, and we’re sorry we can’t make that happen now. We hope those of you that were coming to join us are able to make alternate plans. We wish you and yours a Happy and safe Holiday season.”

The quartet were slated to perform at Harrisburg, PA’s L Live on December 29, Richmond, VA’s The Broadberry on December 30 and Charleston, SC’s The Pour House on December 31 and January 1. Lureto will instead play three sets at The Pour House on December 31, including one with Kanika Moore (Doom Flamingo).
