The Dandy Warhols Announce 2024 Australian Tour

The Dandy Warhols will mark a trail across Australia in late April and early May 2024. The Portland indie rock outfit will have a new album in tow by the time the tour rolls around – their twelfth LP, Rockmaker, is due out in March 2024. The album’s lead single, ‘The Summer of Hate’, came out in October.

The tour begins in Auckland on Monday, 22nd April. The Dandys will then cross the Tasman for shows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Find all the details below.

The Dandy Warhols – ‘The Summer of Hate’

The forthcoming Rockmaker is the follow-up to 2020’s Tafelmuzik Means More When You’re Alone. Not much is known about the record at this stage. “We’re coming down under in April 2024 to coincide with the release of our new album ROCKMAKER,” the band wrote on their official website. “Surprise tour AND album announce! Is your head spinning?? Mine is!”

The Dandy Warhols are no strangers to Australian shores. The band were last here in September 2022 supporting the Hoodoo Gurus on their 40th Anniversary Australian tour. The tour was originally scheduled for December 2021, but then came Omicron.
