The Disco Biscuits Add First Tractorbeam Show Since 2019 to Why We Dance Tour

Today, The Disco Biscuits announced an exciting additional date to their upcoming Why We Dance Tour 2024 set to take place over 30 plus days in the Winter and Spring of 2024. The new performance is set to take place at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colo., on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, and is billed as a Tractorbeam show, marking their first since 2019.

Originally, Tractorbeam served simply as a pseudonym The Disco Biscuits used in ’08 and ’09, along with a few shows in the 2010s, but has since evolved into a vehicle for the ensemble to make live versions of house and disco songs through the use of Ableton Live which is synced to their instruments.

“One of the most exciting things about playing with the Disco Biscuits is our ability to keep things fresh and approach new, incredible musical territory like during our Tractorbeam shows,” said Jon “The Barber” Gutwillig. “These become very real and fast-moving events, fusing even more genres and songs into a nonstop dance experience.”
