The Fifth Annual Kofi Burbridge Day of Service to Take Place in 26 Participating Cities, Registration Opens Ahead of September Event

In recognition of Kofi Burbridge’s profound impact on the music industry and his enduring influence, a nationwide Day of Service is set to occur on September 19, 2025. The event is dedicated to honoring the late multi-instrumentalist’s giving spirit and commitment to helping others. The Kofi Burbridge Day of Service will take place in 26 select U.S. cities, presenting opportunities for individuals to make a positive difference by taking part in a range of give-back initiatives.  

The Tedeschi Trucks Band family, in partnership with an extensive list of nonprofit organizations, will offer community-driven volunteer opportunities as a tribute to the late band member, who passed away in 2019. TTB previously outlined the perimeters of the event, writing on Instagram, “We’re excited to announce the 5th Annual Kofi Burbridge Day of Service, set for September 19, 2025. This nationwide event is a heartfelt way to honor Kofi’s legacy by giving back to our communities.” 

Registration is open now, and a diverse range of volunteer opportunities are available from the crest of the Pacific Northwest’s Seattle location to the Big Apple, and a slew of Midwest and Southern spots in between. Interested participants can find a role that resonates and make a positive impact on their communities while also honoring Burbridge.
