The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie have announced additional North American dates for their landmark 20th-anniversary co-headline tour Give Up Transatlanticism tour, scheduled for April-May 2024.

The tour, marked by sold-out shows and iconic performances at venues like Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl, promised a celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Postal Service’s Give Up and Death Cab for Cutie’s beloved fourth studio LP Transatlanticism and delivered all throughout 2023.

Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will once again pull double duty in the new year and will share full live performances of the albums alongside his bandmates. The extended tour dates will kick off in Atlanta on April 23 and will include stops in major cities such as Nashville, Toronto, Vancouver, Milwaukee, and more, concluding in Portland, Ore., on May 15. Indie rock quartet Slow Pulp is set to support each night of the tour.

Reflecting on the significance of the tour, Gibbard shared, “I know for a fact I will never have a year again like 2003. The Postal Service record came out, Transatlanticism came out. These two records will be on my tombstone, and I’m totally fine with that. I’ve never had a more creatively inspired year.”

Additionally, both bands will also take the tour overseas, bringing the celebration to London next year. UK fans can stay up-to-date and sign up for notifications about this highly-anticipated show on the official website.

Presales for the new dates will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 10 am local time, starting with the Artist Presale. General on-sale tickets will be available from Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 am local time. Learn more and find tickets here.
