The Prodigy have announced their return to the stage with a short run of live shows in the United Kingdom this July. Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their epochal 1997 LP The Fat Of The Land, Prodigy, sans former beloved frontman Keith Flint, will be touring England in select cities: Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, and London.

Hailing from Essex, the English electronic dance music band was originally formed in 1990 by producer-wordsmith Liam Howlett and members Maxim and Keith Flint. Since then, the band has been officially recognized, alongside peers The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, as pioneers of the big beat genre, which peaked in the late 1990’s. Though acclaimed vocalist Flint passed in 2019, Prodigy has conveyed that new music is in the works.

Band members Liam and Maxim shared the following statement on the upcoming tour: “WE CANT WAIT TO GET BACK ONSTAGE AND PLAY OUR TUNES FOR THE PEOPLE AGAIN, THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF ‘FAT OF THE LAND’ FELT LIKE THE RIGHT TIME FOR US TO STEP UP, WE’LL BE DROPPIN TUNES FROM ALL OUR ALBUMS AND MAYBE SOME SHIT U HAVNT HEARD BEFORE,“THIS ONE’S FOR FLINTY ,,, NOW LETS FUKIN GO !!’ LIAM H & MAXIM”

There’s no doubt that the ravey break beats, rhythmic rock-inspired drum patterns, and enthusiastic showmanship will continue to inspire and engage a brand new generation of listeners.

Pre-sale ticket information and further details available on The Prodigy’s official website.
